Sandra Tsing Loh’s new book,
Mother on Fire:
A True Motherf%#$@ Story About Parenting! comes out this month and I give her brilliant f&#%g credit for the subtitle. For a taste of Loh, see her latest,
"I Choose My Choice!" in The Atlantic. (Thanks, Heather, for the heads up!)

Thanks for the link! I loved it!
And that's the thing about feminism too that makes it so hard for most women to jump behind with glee. The vast majority of women don't have jobs worth sacrificing their lives for (most men too but they are socialized differently then we are). We have jobs not careers. It's about paying bills, eating and keeping the roof overhead.
But to get to the point about changing the world through involvement. Maybe it is time we rethought what "involving" ourselves really means. We keep trying to the play it where it lies, so to speak, and not simply picking up the ball and moving it to a field of our liking/choosing.
